micro residents: Angela Wai Nok Hui and Mikołaj Rytowski

Exciting news alert, we're thrilled to announce our newest artists in residence! Join us in welcoming Angela Wai Nok Hui and Mikołaj Rytowski to our platform from the 29.2.2024 till the 10.3.2024. Stay tuned for inspiring works, and their innovative collaboration.

Angela Wai Nok Hui and Mikołaj Rytowski both are percussion-trained musicians and their shared desire to explore various aspects of contemporary music led them to form a duo in 2022 with Basel as the main workplace. Their collaboration involves exploring new sounds and sonic connections using percussion, toys, electronic instruments, and various objects. Beyond the instrumental aspect, the artists experiment with stage design, sound installations, visualizations, and performance, creating multisensory experiences that redefine the form and purpose of artistic presentations.
