An audio visual performance

Sunday, 27th July, 2025

The term whirl of doom, or ant mill, is a phenomenon in which ants, trailing one another, become ensnared in a self-perpetuating circular motion. This occurs when these colony insects lose their pheromone trail, the chemical map that normally anchors their direction. Exhausted by the futile repetition, they ultimately perish, one after another.
