Last Sunday, we ventured to the MAISsCape installation at Tempelhoferfeld, and the experience left us moved. The MAISsCape project debuted this weekend and offers an independent yet communal experience. A custom control and amplifier system powers the 2 subwoofers under each of the 24 unique cantilever chairs, delivering a physical experience of top-notch sound quality for both shared and individual listening without disturbing the surroundings.

This powerful installation guided us to contemplate the unseen forces of vibrations and frequencies that are part of our world. As we sat with 22 others in a circle we slowly became part of the artwork and were reminded through the delicate dance of vibrations of the importance of listening to our surroundings. In that space, we found ourselves engaged in a unique dialogue, one devoid of words. Looking forward, we hope to gather more artist in this line of work next winter, uniting them to continue to explore the powerful language of vibrations and frequencies
