Resident: Federico Tejeda
From September 4th we're excited to welcome Federico Tejeda to Ping Pong Space for the first time — joining our community of artists exploring the spaces between technology, society, and being human.
Federico works across sculpture, installation, and video, treating objects as carriers of socioeconomic, historical, and ontological narratives. Born in Lima in 1995 and currently based in London, where he's studying MFA Fine Art at Goldsmiths, his research explores the autonomy of form and an absent corporeality held in tension with processes of labour and technology.
During his residency, he'll be developing new research into technological infrastructures and information flow — probing the relationship between meaning and certainty, and looking for new approaches to transmission through aesthetics.
Follow Federico's process as the work evolves through our residency @ping_pong_art_platform
